born in Plattsburg, Winston Co., MS January 9, 1890. Aaron died April 8, 1967. His body was interred at Cedarlawn
Cemetery.
He married Bessie Jones Wood July 25, 1915 in Plattsburg, Winston Co., MS. Bessie was born
January 10, 1899 in Plattsburg, Winston Co., MS. Bessie was the daughter of Robert Walker Wood and Lee Anna Pope.
Bessie died May 3, 1986 in Jackson, Hinds Co., MS. Her body was interred at Cedarlawn Cemetery. Aaron L Algood was
appointed a rural letter carrier from the Plattsburg, Mississippi post office in 1918, he served there until 1923, when that post office was
closed and he was transferred to the Philadelphia, Mississippi off in that same year. He retired in 1958.

Chalmers Kirk Algood was born in Plattsburg, Winston Co., MS October 3, 1918. Chalmers died June 13, 1984
in Tulsa, Tulsa Co, OK. His body was interred at Cedarlawn Cemetery. Never married. During World Ward II, he served in the US
Navy. As reported in his hometown paper: OCT. 29, 1943 Ensign Chalmers Kirk Algood, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Algood, of this city,
recently completed a six-month training course for commissioned officers of the Naval Reserve, at Harvard University, Cambridge, Mass., and
has been assigned to duty with the Pacific Fleet. He served as editor-in-chief of the class's annual, "Tide".
Retired as Vice President Cities Service Oil Company, LP Gas Division.
