He married Elizabeth Barnes Christian November 14, 1837 in Meriwethaer Co., GA. Elizabeth was born June 15, 1814 in Madison, GA. Elizabeth was the daughter of Obediah Christian and Joanna Barnes. Elizabeth died November 19, 1897 in Paulding Co., GA. Elizabeth is buried at the Allgood Cemetery, Paudling County, GA

864 ii. William Obed H. Allgood was born 1841. Age 9 in 1850 census of Paulding Co., Ga William died September 3, 1861 in Richmond, Chesterfield Co., VA. William died in the army.

865 iii. Charles P. D. Allgood was born in Paulding Co., GA 1843. : Age 7 in 1850 census of Paulding County, Georgia Charles died in Staunton, VA. Charles D. died in the army. He married C. D. Smith December 16, 1862 in Carroll Co., GA.

+ 866 iv. James N. S. Allgood was born January 11, 1845.

+ 867 v. John Wesley H. Allgood was born July 3, 1847.

+ 868 vi. George Allen Payne Allgood was born January 3, 1850.

+ 869 vii. Thomas Francis Christian Allgood was born August 25, 1852.

+ 870 viii. Mary Jane Allgood was born Januay13, 1855.

871 ix. Eliza Percis (Paris) Allgood was born November 27, 1857. She was called Eliza Paris, Eliza Percis and Eliza P. in different records. Eliza died September 22, 1949 in Paulding Co., GA. Her body was interred in Allgood Meth. Ch, Paulding County, Georgia. It is believed that Eliza never married as the various census showed she lived with her parents and brothers.
