Saphronia died February 6, 2003 in Thomaston, Upson Co., GA. OBIT: Funeral services for Mrs. Grace A. Cantrell, 88, of South Green Street, were held Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003 at 2 p.m. in the Pasley-Fletcher Chapel with the Rev. A. C. McLemore officiating. Burial followed in Southview Cemetery.

Mrs. Cantrell died Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003 at Upson Regional Medical Center.

Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Cantrell was a native of Walton County, Ga. She had been a resident of Upson County since 1936 and was a charter member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara McLemore of Knoxville, Tenn and Beverly Corley of Thomaston; a son, W.D. "Bill" Allgood of Tifton; grandchildren, Debbie Wootan of Birmingham, Ala., Cindy Price of Maryville, Tenn., Tim McLemore of Knoxville, Tenn., Krista Mattox of Chula, Ga., and Brian Corley of Thomaston; three step-grandsons; four great-granddaughters; three step-great-granddaughters; and one step-great-grandson.

She married twice. She married Bonnie Morris Cantre. She married Bonnie Morris Cantrell 1930. Bonnie was born June 5, 1913 Buford, Gwinnett Co., GA. Bonnie died August 1, 1973 in Thomaston, Upson Co., GA.

Saphronia (Walta) Grace Allgood and Bonnie Morris Cantrell had the following children:

+ 37696 i. Barbara Ann¹⁰ Cantrell was born June 6, 1932.

+ 37697 ii. Beverly Sue Cantrell was born July 4, 1946.
