Julia is buried in an unmarked grave in the Ashville Cemetery, Ashville, AL. She is listed on the 1920 census as Judie A Gaskey.

She married Andrew Jackson Gaskey August 6, 1851 in Columbus, Muscogee Co., GA. Andrew was born March 1805 in SC. There is uncertainity as to his birth date. His tomestone shows 1813, alhough there are records to ndicate 1805 as well as 1796 (Per St Clair County Historical book)

Andrew died June 18, 1910 in St Clair Co., AL. Andrew is buried in the Ashville Cemetery, Ashville, AL Andrew served in the Confederate Army, Company A, First Alabama Infantry.

In the 1900 census Andrew had his wife, daughter, Emma Nelson and her son, James B. as well as tow other grandsons living in the household, the other two were: Nolia Nelson, age 18, born March 1882 in AL and her brother James, age 14, born February 1886 in TX
