He married Lucy A. (___). Lucy was born January 1846 in Wilkes Co., GA. Lucy died 1920. John was a Confederate Soldier. He enlisted in Company E. 8th Miss. Infantry (Tallahoma Hardshells) about April 24, 1861. He died in service sometime around September 1864 when his regiment was still in Georgia.

3201 i. Sarah E.9 Allgood was born in Wilkes Co., GA 1867. 3202 ii. James Willis Allgood was born in Clarke Co., GA July 14, 1875. James died December 25,1943 in Clarke Co., GA. He married Martha (Mattie) Elizabeth Elder May 27, 1901 in Clarke Co., GA. Martha was born 1880 in Wilkes Co., GA.
