Jimmy died March 23, 2008 in Newton, Newton Co, MS. Obit: Services for Jimmy L. "Donald" Allgood will be held today at 10:30 a.m. at the James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Beat Line Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Allgood, 69, of Decatur, died Sunday, March 23, 2008, in his home. He was a retired self-employed concrete finisher and a member of Beat Line Baptist Church. He was loved by all who knew him. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Scoggin of Edmond, Okla; sons, Joseph Allgood, Donald Allgood and Jimmy Allgood, all of Decatur; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Brock of Brandon; a brother, Jim Allgood of Decatur and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Allgood; his parents, Marshall William and Gladys Jewel Leach Allgood; his daughter, Kelly Ann Ware; sisters, Marcella Hollingsworth and Carolyn Edwards and a brother George Allgood.

He married Linda Louise Maddox October 29, 1956 in Angola, IN. Linda was born July 30, 1939. Linda died February 1998 in Decatur, Newton Co, MS.

Jimmy Lewis (Donald) Allgood and Linda Louise Maddox had the following children:
