Grace was the daughter of Edson Nephi Stewart and Mary Ann Phillips. Grace died May 15,1992 in Ogden, Weber Co, UT. In 1930, Sanford, his wife Grace and father John were in Los Angeles Co., CA H. S. MATTHEWS, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Matthews, Waxahachie, Texas. Entered the Ship Building Service June 23, 1918. Was stationed in the ship yards at Beaumont, Texas. Discontinued his work after the signing of the armistice.

Entered the service August 5, 1918. Attached to Company K, 135th Infantry. Stationed at Camp Cody. Died at Camp Dix, New Jersey, of Influenza.
