George was born September 6, 1909 in O'Hatchee, Calhoun Co., AL. George died June 15, 1983 in O'Hatchee, Calhoun Co., AL. George and Julia had no children. Julia and George had no children.

20529 iii. Bernice Elizabeth Morgan was born in Pleasant Ridge, Calhoun Co., AL April 14, 1911. Bernice died April 14, 2006 in Jacksonville, Calhoun Co., AL. OBIT: Graveside services for Bernice E. Morgan, 95, were at noon April 17 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Dr. Bill Etheridge officiated. K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center directed.

Ms. Morgan died April 14 at her home after a brief illness.

Survivors include a sister, Ann Morgan Simmons of Anniston; nieces and nephews, Brenda Abel of Melbourne, Fla., Julia and Dewey Brock of Jacksonville, Linda and Mike Danesi of Newton, N.J., Bill and Vicki Morgan of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Judith Simmons and Tom Blakely of Atlanta, and many great- and great-great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many college students at Jacksonville State University with whom she shared her home and her life over the years.

Ms. Morgan was preceded in death by her siblings, Edwin Morgan of Jacksonville, Pauline Caldwell of Ohatchee, Evelyn McLaney of Dothan, and Reuben Morgan of Birmingham.

Ms. Morgan graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1929 and received a teaching certificate from Jacksonville State Normal College a few years later. Due to the economic conditions of the time however, she never taught school. Instead, she worked at the Anniston Army Depot until 1947, at the Utica Mill until it closed in 1958, and at Town and Country Realty in Jacksonville until her retirement in 1978. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Jacksonville.

Bernice never married.

She married Malcolm Oycd McLaney in Jacksonville, Calhoun Co., AL. Malcolm was born September 16, 1916 in Hartford, Geneva Co., AL. Malcolm died July 20, 1992 in Hartford, Geneva Co., AL. Malcolm is buried in the Wesley Methodist Church Cemetery Geneva County, Alabama

Ida had no children by either marriage.
