He married Sarah Lee. Bowden December 28, 1905 in Hart Co., GA. Sarah was born December 1877 in Cleburne Co., AL. Sarah was the daughter of John Malachi Bowder and Eliza Lemon Akers. Sarah died January 18,1954 in Clarke Co., GA. In 1900, both Jackson and Minnie, single, were living with their parents. In 1910 he and his family were living in Shallowford, Dekalb Co., GA. Jackson made application in 1918 for a passport to France, as as Red Cross volunteer. He was shown on his application as a minister. In WW II, he is listed as wounded during WW II. In 1930 Jackson, Sarah, Jack and Elizabeth were living in Clarke Co., GA
