Rebecca Anderson, 16, of Stringer, died Monday, April 22, 2002, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, at Stringer High School Gym, with burial in Liberty Cemetery in Stringer.

She was a student at Stringer High School and a member of Stringer Baptist Church. She was a varsity cheerleader and a member of the Drama Club, Student Council, 4-H Sharpshooters, Discovery Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Bible Club.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Buck Anderson and Wallace Wyatt Allgood, and grandmother, Wilma F. Anderson.

She is survived by her parents, Johnny and Myra Anderson of Stringer; a brother, Daniel Anderson of Stringer; grandparents, Aletha and Floyd Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 4-9 p.m. today, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, which is in charge of arrangements.
