9154. Ruby Zelma⁸ Allgood (John Thomas⁷, John Willis⁶, John Young⁵, William A.⁴, John Young³, William² Algood, Edward¹ Allgood) was born in Cleburne Co., AL November 27, 1906. Ruby died August 1987 in Rome, Floyd Co., GA. OBIT: Mrs. Ruby Zelma Allgood Parham, age 80, of 120 Sycamore Street, died Monday, Aug. 10, in a Rome hospital. Mrs. Parham was born in Carroll County on November 27, 1906, and was the daughter of the late John W. and Fannie Holcomb Allgood. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther V. Parham; two sons, John W. and Hubert V. Parham, and a daughter, Imogene Stegall. Survivors include two sons, Richard E. Parham, Sr., of Rockmart, and Martin Jerome Parham, Sr., of Atlanta; two brothers Tom Allgood and Lawrence Allgood, both of Rockmart. Seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 4 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church. The Rev. Keith Aldermen and the Rev. Hugh Barrett officiated. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ricky Parham, Martin Parham, William Mundell, Carlton McClain, Stephen Davitte and Jimmy Gentry.

She married Luther V. Parham.

20770 v. Herbert V. Parham was born June 27, 1928. Herbert died April 4, 1952.
