Nadine died May 8,2013 in Bloomburg, Cass Co., TX. OBIT: Nadine Gibson, age 95, of Bloomburg, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 8, 2013, in a local hospital surrounded by family.

Nadine was born September 17, 1917, in Bright Star, Arkansas, to Sam and Maggie Thomas Allison. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J. A. Gibson; son, Johnny Gibson; daughter, Sylvia Howe; grandsons, Michael James and Kevin James.

She is survived by one daughter, Modine Spruell of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; son-in-law, Jack Howe of Bloomburg, Texas; one brother, Earl Allison of Bloomburg, Texas; four grandchildren, Vickie Langston and husband Robert of Atlanta, Texas; Mitch Spruell and wife Cardella of Jessieville, Arkansas, Marty Spruell and wife Karen of Little Rock, Arkansas, Matt Spruell and wife Kenna of Van Buren, Arkansas; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

J. A. Gibson and Nadine Allison had the following children:

+ 20238 i. Sylvia Joyce⁹ Gibson was born November 25, 1936.

+ 20239 ii. Evelyn Modine Gibson (LIVING).

20240 iii. Johnny Allison Gibson was born in Cherokee Co., TX April 18, 1948. Johnny died March 30,1959 in Kon Tum, Vietnam.
