Betty died February 4, 2004 in Coos Bay, Coos Co., OR. OBIT: Betty Jane Nagel of Coos Bay died Feb. 4 at the age of 77. Her family chose not to list the cause of death. Nagel was born Nov. 2, 1926, in Stella, Neb., to Richard and Clara Hoover Allgood. She married Fred Nagel Jr., in Falls City, Neb., on Nov. 30, 1942. She worked as an Avon representative and with The World newspaper in Coos Bay. She was later employed at Southsider Motel in Coos Bay for 17 years, working her way up from maid to manager. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Fred of Marcola and Tom and Scott, both of Coos Bay; three daughters, Nancy Owen and Barbara Klein, both of Lakeside, and Roxanne Perez of Coos Bay; a brother, Robert Allgood of Ohio; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren. Myrtle Grove Funeral Service-Bay Area in Coquille is in charge of arrangement.
She married Fredrick Ludwig Nagel JR November 30,1942 in Falls City, Richardson Co., NE. Fredrick was born 1926.
