2618. Charles Fillmore7 Allgood (Clinton Biggs6, Elech Franklin5, Charles B.4, Edward3, William2 Algood, Edward1 Allgood) was born in Auburn, Nemaha Co., NE September 9, 1927. Charles died December 9, 2016 in Genva, Fillmore Co., NE.
He married Dorothy Mae Lovegrove October 6, 1949 in Geneva, Fillmore Co., NE. Dorothy was born August 20, 1927. Dorothy was the daughter of LeRoy Everett Lovegrove and Ruth Victoria Anderson. Dorothy died December 24, 2008 in Geneva, Fillmore Co., NE. OBIT: Dorothy Mae (Lovegrove) Allgood was born to Roy and Ruth (Anderson) Lovegrove on a farm located southwest of Fairmont in Geneva township on August 20, 1927, and passed away on December 24, 2008, at Heritage Crossings in Geneva at the age of 81, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the second of four children. She was baptized and confirmed at the Methodist church in Fairmont.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie; daughters, Virginia and husband, Mike Johnson and Vicki Allgood; sons, Stan, and Steve; five grandsons, Cory and wife, Leslie Johnson; Scott and wife, Steph Johnson; Adam and wife, Melanie Johnson; Erick Allgood and fiancée, Angie Doesch; and Aaron Allgood; five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Mason, and Clayton Johnson; Ellie Johnson and Amelia Johnson; brother, Don Lovegrove and wife, Roma; sisters-in-law, Gerry Daniels and Shirley Ward, Barbara Allgood, Lucille Allgood; brother-in-law Robert Schulz, Vera Clark, nieces, nephews and a host of friends and cousins. Funeral services were held on December 27, at the Geneva United Methodist Church with Pastors Ron Harris and Eric Biehl officiating. Judy Ackland was the organist and accompanied the congregation in the singing of "How Great Thou Art," "The Old Rugged Cross," and "In the Garden." Pallbearers for the service were Cory Johnson, Scott Johnson, Adam Johnson, Eric and Aaron Allgood, Doug and Dan Lovegrove. Interment was held in the Geneva Public Cemetery.
