Inez died December 10, 2000 in Oskaloosa, Mahaska Co., IA. OBIT-Inez L. Bloodsworth, 70, of Oskaloosa, died Sunday, Dec. 10, at Mahaska Hospital in Oskaloosa. Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa, the Rev. Lois Williams officiating. Burial: Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa. Visiting hours begin 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel; the family will greet visitors 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday.

She married three times. She married William Francis Baltimore September 15, 1946 in Eddyville, Mahaska Co., IA. William was born October 3,1925. William was the son of William Perry Baltimore and Nada Surber. William died April 8, 1994 in Eddyville, Mahaska Co., IA. She married Albert Wayne Bloodsworth March 7, 1985. Albert was born March 7, 1926 in Haydock, IA. Albert was the son of James Washington bloodsworth and Margaret Ann Jobush. Albert died March 4, 2016 in Oskaloosa, Mahaska Co., IA. OBIT: Albert “Curly” Bloodsworth, 89, of Oskaloosa, died Friday, March 4, 2016, at the MHP Hospice Serenity House in Oskaloosa. He was born March 7, 1926, at Haydock, Iowa, the son of James and Margaret Ann Jobush Bloodsworth. Following school, Albert served in the United States Army during WWII. He received a purple heart for injuries sustained in combat. Following his honorable discharge from the Army, Curly returned to Iowa. In the mid 1940’s, he was united in marriage to Beverly Rodgers. To this union two children were born Ron and Cindy. Curly and Beverly later divorced. He later married Juanita Bigsby, she died in 1985. Albert worked for nearly 13 years at the Oskaloosa Brick Plant firing the kilns. He later went to work at Superior Ideal in Oskaloosa as a supervisor, he retired from there after nearly 13 years. In retirement he worked at Hawkeye Lumber in Oskaloosa. On March 7, 1985, he was united in marriage to Inez Baltimore at Oskaloosa, Inez died December 10, 2000. Curly was a lifetime member of the American Legion, V.F.W. and D.A.V. He was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed playing cards, mushroom hunting, bowling, and dancing.

His family includes his two children and their spouses, Ron and Pat Bloodsworth of Oskaloosa and Cindy and Bill Pinegar of Marysville, Iowa; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a step son and his wife, David and Bonnie Baltimore of Montezuma; a brother, Russel Bloodsworth of Aurora, Colorado; two sisters, Mary Simmers of Eddyville and Jane Levey of California; close friends, Jerry and Shirley Kime of Oskaloosa; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two wives, Juanita and Inez; his parents; five brothers, James, Fred, Robert, Phil, and Tom; four sisters, Mildred Wilson, Dorothy Belzer, Betty Siebert, and Alberta Applegate (Albert’s twin).

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at 10 a.m. in the Bates Funeral Chapel in Oskaloosa with Reverend Lois Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Oakview Cemetery at Albia. Graveside Military Rites will be given by members of the Oskaloosa American Legion and V.F.W. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will begin Tuesday after 12 noon in the Bates Funeral Chapel and the family will be present from 5-7 Tuesday evening to greet friends and relatives.
