Vista died June 19, 1970 in Dallas, Paulding Co., GA. Irene is buried at the New Canaan Baptist Cemetery, Paulding Co., GA Vista was a school teacher for many years, then Librarian for Paulding Co. On 04/12/1939 gave the land for Macedonia Baptist Church, Hwy 61 S.

Clyde fell off a horse at age 6, broke right arm. Arm set incorrectly, leaving him with a crippled hand and arm and giving him the nickname "Crip"
