2390. Ruby Rovine⁷ Bean (Clara Belle⁶ Gilkison, Ruth Ann⁵ Allgood, Spencer⁴, Edward³, William² Algood, Edward¹ Allgood) was born in Parke Co., IN October 7, 1916. Ruby died June 25, 1994 in Covington, Fountain Co., IN. OBIT: Ruby Rovine Bean Nickle, 77, Route 3, Veedersburg, died at 5:12 a.m. June 25, 1994, at the Covington Manor Nursing Center, Covington. She was born Oct. 7, 1916, in Parke County, the daughter of John William and Clara Belle Gilkison Bean. She married Ernest W. "Bill" Nickle, Nov. 18, 1940 in Rockville. He preceded in death on Nov. 16, 1979.

She was raised in Tangier and was a 1934 graduate of Tangier High School. For the past 40 years she has lived on the farm at Route 3, Veedersburg, and had wintered at Winter Haven, Fla. from 1967 to 1978. She had been a patient of the nursing center since October 1990. She had attended the Assembly of God Church in Winter Haven, Fla. She loved to garden.

Surviving, are: three sons, the Rev. William Charles (Linda) Nickle, Route 2, Covington; Thomas Wayne (Marie) Nickle, Route 3, Veedersburg; Michael Ray (Diane) Nickle, Spotsylvania Courthouse, Va.; two brothers, John V. Bean, Perrysville; Fred Beane, Indianapolis; a twin sister, Ruth Maxine Nickle, Guilliams, Newport; six grandsons, David (Kathy) Nickle, Daniel (Lisa) Nickle, Chris (Dawn) Nickle, Kenneth Nickle, twins Joseph and James Nickle; four granddaughters, Terri, Holly, Molly and Nancy Nickle; two great-grandsons, Blake and Brett Nickle; a great-granddaughter, Taylor Nickle; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, a brother and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at the Maus Funeral Home, Hillsboro, at 10:30 a.m- today (Tuesday) with the Rev. William Nickle officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Gardens Cemetery, Rockville.

She married Ernest Walker Nickle November 18, 1940 in Rockville, Parke Co., IN. Ernest was born April 16, 1921 in Nsivper, Vermillion. Ernest was the son of Walker Nickle and Eva Brindley. Ernest died November 16, 1979 in Fountain Co., IN.

Ruby Rovine Bean and Ernest Walker Nickle had the following children:
