Jesse died March 10, 1928 in East Bend, Yadkin Co., NC. Jesse was buried at the Forbush Friends Ch., Yadkin Co., NC On the 1900 census, Jesse is shown with wife Mary living alone. Mary is shown as having had 1 child with none living. Some researchers show daughter Larua as still living at this time.
