He married Myrtle Belle Lynch. Myrtle was born January 13, 1918. Myrtle was the daughter of Julus Ray Lynch and Laura Ellen Hutchens. Myrtle died September 6, 2006 in Yadkinville, Yadkin Co., NC. OBIT: YADKINVILLE - Myrtle Belle Lynch Allgood, 88, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born Jan. 13, 1918, to the late Julius Ray and Laura Ellen Hutchens Lynch. Mrs. Allgood was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence Lee Allgood; two sisters, Mae Shepherd and Jewel Hoots; and three brothers, William Ray Lynch, Allen Lynch and Roland Lynch. Surviving are her children, Judith Elaine Allgood (Dr. James L.) Reavis and Bobby Gray (Dorothy) Lynch, both of Yadkinville; two sisters, Minnie Baity of Yadkinville and Opal Freeman of Walkertown; four brothers, Larkin Lynch of Texas; James Lynch of China Grove; and Loyd Lynch and Wayne Lynch, both of Yadkinville; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Her service will be conducted at 5 p.m. today, Sept. 7, at Deep Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ron Davis and the Rev Charles Lethcoe officiating. The family will receive friends after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Deep Creek Baptist Church, 2401 Old Stage Road, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
