He married Jennie Seely Roberts December 14, 1913 in Bend, Crook Co., OR. Jennie was born January 18, 1888 in Waucoma, Fayette Co., IA. Jennie was the daughter of Lucius Quintus Cincinnatus Roberts and Francis Saloma Holder. Jennie died July 31, 1964 in White Swan, Yakima Co., WA.

7286 v. Holman Leroy Allgood was born in Bend, Deschutes Co., OR August 27, 1922. Holman died August 8, 2004 in Bend, Deschutes Co., OR. Obit: Holman Leroy Allgood of Bend, Ore. died on Aug. 8, 2004, at the age of 81. He was born on Aug. 27, 1922 in The Dalles, Ore., to Roy and Jeanie (Roberts) Allgood. His family moved to Bend in 1926 and he graduated from the old Bend High School in 1940. Holman then went on to serve in the Navy on the U.S.S. South Dakota in the Atlantic and Pacific theaters from 1941 until 1945. On Nov. 28, 1947 he married Etta B. (McCarty) Allgood in Reno, Nev. Holman worked as a logging equipment operator for the Brooks Scanlon Railroad for 43 years. He was a member of the High Desert Baptist Church in Bend, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and other outdoor activites. Survivors include his wife, Etta B. Allgood of Bend, and his sister, Elnora Clift of Pendleton, Ore. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Graveside service with military honors took place at at Juniper Haven Cemetery in Prineville. Funeral service took place on Thursday, Aug. 12, at Niswonger, Reynolds Chapel in Bend. A visitation was held on Wednesday, Aug. 11, from 1-5 p.m. at Niswonger, Reynolds Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the High Desert Baptist Church.
