Mary died May 23, 2006 in Kellogg, Shoshone Co., ID. OBIT: Mary Wilma Duce Kidd, 93, of Kellogg, died May 23, 2006, at the home of her son in Kingston.

She was born Nov. 26, 1912, in Dayton, Wash., to William Newton and Eva Grace Hatley Jones.

In 1940, she married Leon Duce. He died in 1958. She married Harland Kidd; he died in 1995. She worked in potato processing for R.T. French Co. in Shelley as a school cook for the Firth School District, and owned and operated H&M Ceramics in Basalt. She moved to the Silver Valley in 1996.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Pinehurst.

Survivors include her children, Lonny (Jenny) Duce of Kingston and Ardis Begley of Wilsonville, Ore.; stepchildren, Darlene Clayson of Firth and Gerald Duce of Hamilton, Mont.; 29 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 26, at Kellogg Funeral Chapel in Kellogg. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in the Basalt Cemetery under the direction of Shoshone Funeral Service of Kellogg.

She married three times. She married George William Armstrong August 11, 1930 in Pocatello, Bannock Co., ID. George was born January 29, 1905 in American Falls, Power Co., ID. George died July 1954 in American Falls, Power Co., ID. She married Daniel Leon Duce July 21, 1940 in Idaho Falls, Bonneville Co., ID. Daniel was born June 22, 1906 in Hyde Park, Cache Co., UT. Daniel was the son of Elza Duce and Mary (___). Daniel died April 14, 1958 in Basalt, Bingham Co., ID. OBIT: Mr. Daniel Leon Duce, 52, Basalt area farmer died Monday at his home.

He was born June 22, 1906 at Hyde Park, Utah. He was the son of Mary and Eliza England Duce. He came to Idaho in 1924 and in 1927 married Alda Larue Kendell in the Logan LDS Temple.

She preceded him in death in 1940. He later married Wilma Jones in Idaho Falls. He is survived by sons Elvin Clayson of Woodville, Jerald Leon Duce of Shelley and Lonny Marcell Duce of Basalt and a daughter, Mrs. Dennis Ardis, Hjelm.

He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Nell Hillyard of Richmond, Utah; John Duce of Hyde Park, Utah; Willard Duce, and Fred Duce of Hyde Park Utah and ten grandchildren.

He was an active member of the LDS Church and worked in the presidency of the Elder's quorum.

She married Harland Becker Kidd June 27, 1960 in Blackfoot, Bingham Co., ID. Harland was born July 30, 1918 in Bruneau, Owyhee Co., ID. Harland died December 7, 1995 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., UT. OBIT: Harland B. Kidd, 77, of Basalt, a retired R.T. French Co. employee, died Dec. 7, 1995, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Salt Lake City.

He was born July 30, 1918, in Bruneau, Idaho, to Alexander and Pearl Kidd. His first wife, Dorothy Fletcher, died in 1944. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.

He moved from Declo to Basalt in 1960.

On June 27, 1960, he married Mary W. Duce in Blackfoot. He was employed by R.T. French Co. in Shelley for 20 years before retirement.

He was a member of the LDS Church, Basalt Ward.

Survivors include his wife of Basalt; a son, Larry Kidd of Indianapolis, Ind.; a stepson, Lonny M. Duce of Kellogg; a stepdaughter, Ardis Begley of Portland, Ore.; a brother, John Kidd of Hammette; two sisters, Viola Saxton of Quartzsite, Ariz., and LaRue Dana of Fort Benton, Mont; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W. Oak St. in Shelley. Burial will be in Basalt Cemetery.

Mary Wilma Jones and Daniel Leon Duce had the following children:
