James died April 27, 2010 in Murfreesboro, TN. OBIT: James “Jimmy” Curtis Allgood, Jr., age 48, of Murfreesboro, passed away on April 27, 2010 at his residence. He was a native of Davidson County but resided in Murfreesboro since 1984. He was a retired Colonel for the Air National Guard. He was a veteran of Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. He was also appointed as a Registered Nurse at the Alvin C. York Medical Center. Jimmy is survived by his father, James Curtis Allgood, Sr. and step-mother, Ivadell Allgood of Thompson Station, TN; mother, Glenda Laverne Adkins of Bristol, TN; son, James Allgood of Murfreesboro; daughter, Ariana Allgood of Murfreesboro; brothers, Michael Gregory Allgood of Murfreesboro and Gary Scott Allgood of Bristol, TN; and step-sister, Dianne Givens of Thompson Station, TN.

The funeral service for Jimmy will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 3, 2010 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Rev. Don Morris officiating. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
