Thelma died January 15, 2014 in Greenbrier, Robertson Co., TN. OBIT: Thelma Ruth Allgood Eidson, age 79, of Greenbrier, TN passed away at her residence on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Greenbrier, TN on November 9, 1934 to Nettie Payne Allgood & Willie T. Allgood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Gladys Jennings & Betty Ardito; brothers, William T. Allgood, Jr. & Harold Allgood.

A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Bro. Donnie Bryant officiating. She worked as a bookkeeper for 18 years for Eidson & Eidson Excavating. She loved her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for her family and being in the outdoors. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of almost 58 years, Howard Eidson, Greenbrier, TN; son & daughter-in-law, Terry & Alice Eidson, Greenbrier, TN; grandchildren & their spouses, Amanda & Matthew Dunlap & Joshua & Rachel Eidson; great grandchildren, Olivia & Kaitlyn Eidson & Monroe Dunlap; brothers, Bill Allgood, Pleasant View, TN, Fred Allgood, Vancover, WA, Bud (Judy) Allgood, Hendersonville, TN, John Wayne (Cathy) Allgood, Gallatin, TN; sisters, Pauline Tucker, Greenbrier, TN, Mable Tholl, Alvord, Texas, Martha Jean Smith, Greenbrier, TN.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 2-8PM and on Saturday, Jan. 18, 9-11AM the hour of the service. Final resting place will be Robertson County Memorial Gardens with Bobby Dorris, Ronnie Weaver, Don Myers, Gary Baird, Douglas Tucker, & David Tucker serving as pallbearers.
