She married Frank Oliver Defore June 2, 1902 in Coal City, Jefferson Twp, Owen Co., IN. Frank was born Apri 8, 1878 in IN. Frank was the son of Hiram Benjamin Defore and Jane McKee. Frank died September 26, 1950.

7008 iii. Martin Richard Defore was born in Owen Co. IN August 8, 1913. Martin died June 1, 1983 in Lawrence Co., IN. OBIT: Martin Richard DeFore, 69, R. 1, Springville, died Wednesday in Clay County Hospital at Brazil, Ind. He had been ill several years.
He was born Aug. 8, 1913 in Owen County (Coal City), to Frank and Ethel May Blacketter DeFore. He
married Cora H. Hert on Dec. 24, 1940, and she preceded him in death Aug. 14, 1979.
He retired from the Federal Bureau of Standards. He was a member of the Masonic Green Lodge 577; Washington, Ind., Scottish Rite Temple, Washington, D.C., the Albert Pike Consistory, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving is one brother. John DeFore, Brazil, Ind.
Services will be at 10:30 am. Friday at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, the Rev. Merla Craig officiating. Burial will be in Springville Christian Cemetery. He married Cora Hart December 24, 1940.
Cora was born September 1,1896. Cora was the daughter of William Edward Hart and Alice Thomas. Cora died August 14, 1979 in Lawrence Co., IN. Cora was buried in the Christian Cemetery, Perry Township. Lawrence Co., IN

7010 v. Betty June Defore was born in IN July 15, 1926. Betty died 1952. She married Fred Tompkins II.
