She married Jacob B. Guffey January 10, 1864 in Putman Co., MO. Jacob was born 1836 in Wayne Co., KY. Jacob was the son of Bradcut C. (Bradent) Guffey and Elizabeth Hicks. Jacob died May 13, 1865 in Tullahoma, Coffee Co., TN. Jacob died from typhoid, while serving in the Civil War.
