She married Hal Varney Allgood June 20, 1928 in Nashua, Chickasaw Co., IA. Hal was born August 31, 1892 in Schaller, Sac Co., IA. Hal was the son of Varney Edward Allgood JR and Mary Elizabeth Gillam. Hal died December 1964 in Schaller, Sac Co., IA.
