He married Patricia (Pat) Catherine. Doherty August 23,1953 in San Francisco Co., CA. Patricia was born January 31, 1934. Patricia died March 26, 2008 in San Francisco, San Francisco Co., CA. OBIT: Pat Allgood spent all but a few months of her life in St. Paul Catholic Church's parish. She attended St. Paul's Catholic schools, as well as Lowell, where she graduated.

Pat married Ray Allgood of Peru, NE, in 1953, and gave the world daughters, Valerie Vanderheiden, Cathy Sass, Shirley Allgood and Patty Meistrell. Once the girls were all in school, Pat took part-time work at AAA, from which she retired early this century.

The third of five children of Irish-Americans Patrick and Nora Doherty, Pat was born and raised in San Francisco with brothers, Eugene and Ed, and deceased sisters, Peggy Ragucci and Norine Gann.
