Charles died August 30, 1965 in Dekalb Co. GA. It was said that C. W. took his own life having suffered from severe headaches. He was buried in Lot 214 of the SOUTHEASTERN PART OF THE OXFORD HISTORICAL CEMETERY, Newton Co., GA

He married Marjorie Lee Webb. Marjorie was born October 13, 1929 in Elbert Co., GA. Marjorie was the daughter of Martin Dewey Webb and Mary Ardell Scoggins. Marjorie died May 26, 2001 in Decatur, Dekalb Co., GA. OBIT: Mrs. Marjorie Lee Allgood, 71, of Decatur, died Saturday, May 26, 2001. A native of Elbert County, Mrs. Allgood was a daughter of the late Martin Dewey and Mary Ardell Scoggins Webb. She was a resident of Decatur most of her adult life before moving to Eatonton in February of 2000. Mrs. Allgood was preceded in death by a brother, Royce Webb. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 27, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville. Burial was in the Antioch Baptist Church cemetery, Elberton. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Williarose and William W. West, Jonesboro, and Brenda and Trenton Brown, Eatonton; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Becky Sailors Allgood, Crawford, and Michael and Jerrie A. Allgood, Danielsville; sister, Avanell Webb, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Wayne and Terri West, Greg West, Trent Brown, Leslie Brown, Kerri Bice, Sheree Allgood, Gina and Joe Aranas, Elaine Allgood and Jason Allgood; and six great-grandchildren.o
