20676 ii. DAllas Lawrence Brown was born in AL February 24, 1905. DAllas died August 25, 1991. He married Lula Elizabeth Sanders September 28, 1937 in Birmingham, Jefferson Co, AL. Lula was born January 28, 1913 in Tuscumbia, Colbert Co., AL. Lula was the daughter of Samuel Henry Sanders and Nettie Bell Lydell. Lula died April 6, 2012 in Mountain Brook, Jefferson Co., AL. OBIT: Elizabeth "Tee" Sanders Brown passed away on Good Friday, April 6, 2012, age 99, at the home of her niece Mrs. Rick Gibb, in Mountain Brook (Birmingham). She was born Jan 27, 1913, in Tuscumbia, Alabama, the daughter of Samuel Henry Sanders & Nettie Bell Lydell Daniel. She was married to D. Lawrence Brown on Sept. 27, 1937, at her parent's home in Norwood, Birmingham. They lived in Homewood for many years. Although Aunt Tee and Uncle Brown had no children of their own, they were devoted to their many nieces and nephews. Family and home were always the most important things in her life. Tee was a remarkable woman, who found joy in life every day. Tee and her husband were life-long members of the Church of Christ. Tee was predeceased by her beloved husband, and 2 brothers, Samuel H. Sanders, Jr., and Robert Knox Sanders. She is survived by her brother, Rev. Fr. James Lemuel Sanders, and his wife, Sally DeLay Sanders, of Steelwood, Loxley, Alabama; her sister-in-law Betty Tanquary Sanders; and the following nieces and nephews: Samuel Sanders III, Robyn S. Kaylor, Judith S. (Rick) Gibb, Virginia S. Mylius, Dawn S. (Billy) Kirkland, Elizabeth S. Reese, and James L. (Lisa) Sanders II; 13 great nieces and nephews, and many great-great nieces and nephews. We extend our grateful thanks to her loving care-giver, Cheryl A. Cook. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband and parents.
