Brenda died September 10, 2009 in Fort Wayne, Allen Co., IN. OBIT: BRENDA LEE WALTON, 60, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Indianapolis, was called to her eternal rest on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009. Born Oct. 29, 1948, daughter of Gladys (Meyer) Allgood and the late Glen F. Allgood, Sr., she graduated from Howe High School in 1967, where she was active in the Howe Honies. Brenda was a past Honor Queen of Job's Daughters Brookside, Bethel 23 and a lifetime member of V.F.W. Post 2999. She retired in December of 2005 from Sears Roebuck and Company. Brenda moved to Fort Wayne in 2008, where she volunteered at Parkview Hospital and attended Concordia Lutheran Church. She enjoyed auto racing, Colts football, country music and reading. She is survived by her mother, Gladys (Meyer) Allgood; daughters, Kim Davis (Doug) and Amy Kaschinske (Eric); seven grandchildren, Katie, Kylie, Drew, Kirsten, Mason, Rhaya and Landon; sisters, Marsha Manning, Carolyn Hurst (Steve) and Lori Pritchard (Larry); brother, Fred Allgood (Colleen); 13 nieces and nephews; 10 great-nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Lynda Branham; and brother-in-law, Stephen Walton (Linda). In addition to her father, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Walton. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Legacy Funeral Center at Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation also from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral center. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
She married James Scott Walton May 1,1971 in Indianapolis, Marion Co., IN. James was born January 19, 1949. James died April 11, 2007 in Indianapolis, Marion Co., IN.
