2189. Charles Thomas7 Allgood (Edmond (Edward)6, Phillip5, Edmund4, Edward3, William2 Algood, Edward1 Allgood) was born in White Co., IN September 21, 1877. Charles died August 17, 1960 in Bloomingdale, Vermillion Co., IN. OBIT Charles T. Allgood, 82, 805 E. 13th St., died at his home Wednesday evening. He had been ill for some time. He was the retired owner of a trucking line. Mr. Allgood was born near Bainbridge, [Putnam Co., IN] but had lived in Bloomington for many years. He is survived by his wife, Rose; two daughters, Mrs. Robert L. (Betty) Shields, 805 E. 13th St., and Mrs. Jane Sullivan, Chicago; three sons, Leroy Allgood, 910 E 13th; Charles E. Allgood, Salina, Kan., and Floyd T. Allgood, Claremont; a brother, John Allgood, 1018 S. Lincoln; and two sisters, Mrs. Eva Chase, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Elizabeth Stiller, 805 E. 13th St. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Allen Funeral Home Chapel, with Bob Duncan presiding. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Friday.

He married Anna Scott December 13, 1903 in Monroe Co., IN. Anna was born August 9, 1884 in IN. Anna was the daughter of John Wesley Scott and Mary Virginia Young. Anna died Februay 27,1914 in Monroe Co., IN. He married Truly Bodenhamer Montgomery August 15, 1910 in Monroe Co., IN. He married Rosa Dobbs Croy July 6, 1918 in Monroe Co., IN. Rosa was born March 2, 1891 in Bloomington, Monroe Co., IN. Rosa was the daughter of James Dobbs and Sarah Elizabeth Jones. Rosa died May 17, 1963 in Monroe Co., IN.
