Naomi died April 26, 2014 in Indianapolis, Marion Co., IN. OBIT: Naomi Frances Bugg Borders Norman passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014 in St. Vincent Seton Speciality Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on July 23, 1927 in Helt Township to Melvin W. Bugg and Lucille M. Blue Bugg. Naomi had lived a very active life and had been involved in many clubs and organizations over the years. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and wife. She loved to travel with her late husband Dave Norman and had traveled to many places over the years. Her most recent travel was with family to Utah during the summer of 2013. She and her late husband Dave had businesses over the years that included concession stands and a building in Mansfield where they participated in seasonal festivals. Some of the other organizations that she had been active in was the Ladies Auxillary, Cross Walkers Square Dance Club, Relay for Life and the Montezuma Civic Club. Most recently, she was an owner of the Iron Skillet Restaurant in Fairview. She will be sadly missed and loved by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Darrel C. Borders whom she married on April 28, 1946 and preceded her death on Sept 27, 1978, a brother Melvin Bugg and a grandson Shawn Walton and her husband Dave Norman. She is survived by her children; Darrel (Sandy) Borders of Montezuma, Doyne (Laura) Borders of Terre Haute, Cindy (Jim) Vanlandingham of Hillsdale and Kim Wehr (Steve Weaver) of Hillsdale and Newport. A step-daughter Mary (Ted) Dougherty of Newport, a sister Anna Catherine (Jim) McConnell of Kingman, a special cousin Joe (Marian) Fortner of Utah. Six grandchildren including Nathan Wehr who was especially close to his grandma, eight great-grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. In-laws; Sherman (Elaine) Borders, William (Jean) Borders, Trudy (Herb) Carpenter, Jeanette Borders, Nora Cassano and Ed Norman. She had an extended family of Iron Skillet employees, families and patrons. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Tuesday at Frist Funeral Home. Service will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday at the funeral with Rev. Keith McIntyre and Rev. Charlie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.

She married twice. She married Dave Norman. She married Darrel Cecil Borders April 28,1946. Darrel died September 27,1978.
