OBIT: Margaret Alice Allgood Ritchie, 77, of Bartlett, Tenn., died Nov. 27, 2010, at Saint Francis Hospital in Bartlett. Mrs.
Ritchie, 77, was born in Brookhaven on June 20, 1933, to Zollie Daniel Allgood and Clara Gladys Laird Allgood. The family will
receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at Agape Baptist Church in Memphis, until the 7 p.m. service time. Memphis Funeral
Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Road, formerly Memory Hill Gardens is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs.
Ritchie was a homemaker and a member of Agape Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents; her sisters, Annie Marie
Beeson and Lexie Mae Walker; her brother, Bobby Lee Beeson; and her granddaughter, Rebecca Lynn Ritchie. Survivors include her
husband, Charles C. Ritchie Sr. of Bartlett: two daughters, Margaret Emily Dixon of Jackson, Tenn., and Sharon Alice James of Starkville:
two sons, Charles C. Ritchie Jr. of Bartlett, and Daniel Allen Ritchie of Atoka, Tenn.: four sisters, Nellene Smith, Ernestine McKay and
Corrine Damico, all of Brookhaven, and Flora Mae Stie of Ponchatoula, La.; four brothers, Cary Beeson and Harold Allgood of Brookhaven,
Adolf Allgood of Kennesaw, Ga., and Harold Ray Beeson of Monticello; and nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild
She married Charles Curtis Ritchie 1952. Charles was born December 23,1928 in McComb, Pike Co.,
MS. Charles died February 19, 2014 in Germantown, Shelby Co., TN.
OBIT: Charles Curtis Ritchie, Sr., 85, of Bartlett, TN, died February 19, 2014 at Methodist Healthcare Hospice, Germantown, TN. The family
will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, February 22, at the Agape Baptist Church, 5156 Raleigh LaGrange Rd., Memphis, TN until the 4
p.m. service time. Mr. Ritchie was a member and deacon of the Agape Baptist Church, a Korean War veteran, and worked as a Telegraph Operator
with the Illinois Central Railroad for 37 years. His survivors include two daughters, Margaret Emily Dixon of Jackson, TN and Sharon Alice
James of Starkville, MS: two sons, Charles C. Ritchie Jr. of Bartlett, TN and Daniel Allen Ritchie of Atoka, TN. He was preceded in death by
his wife of almost 58 years, Margaret Alice Allgood Ritchie, two sisters, Allene Buehne and Lois Pacquette, and two brothers, Ray Stanford
Ritchie and William Allen Ritchie, Jr. He is survived by one sister, Martha Emily Schilling of Metairie, Louisiana. He was also preceded in
death by one granddaughter, Rebecca Lynn Ritchie, and is survived by nine grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. He was who he was and
is where he now is because of knowing Jesus as his Savior and Lord. He leaves a wonderful legacy! The family requests any memorials be sent
to Agape Baptist Church, 5156 Raleigh Lagrange Rd. Memphis, TN 38134.
