OBIT: Irvin Allgood was the youngest child of David Marrs Allgood and L. Bernard (Bernie) Fowler. He lived most of his life farming in Central Illinois. Married Mary Fisher, July 20, 1936 and had one child, son, Hugh George Allgood Feb. 10, 1943.

Irvin and Mary were buried in the Saint Marys Catholic Cemetery. Delavan, Tazewell Co., IL

He married Mary Ruth Fisher July 20, 1936. Mary was born October 18, 1911 in Delevan, Fairbault Co., MN. Mary was the daughter of George Fisher and Mary Johntine. Mary died April 24, 2010 in Hopedale Tazewell Co., IL. OBIT: Mary Ruth Allgood, 98, of Delavan passed away at 8:10 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Hopedale Nursing Home.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, at St. Mary's Cemetery in rural Delavan. There will be no visitation. Davis Mortuary in Delavan is handling the arrangements.

She was born October 18, 1911 in rural Delavan to George and Mary Johntine Fisher. She married Irvin Allgood on June 20, 1936 and he preceded her in death on July 26, 1991.

Surviving are two granddaughters, Patricia A. (Gregory) Kalendowicz and Natalie J. (James) Kitlen, both of Florida ; and three great grandchildren, Michael L. Ruden, Amanda C. Gargano and Alyson N. Gargano. She was preceded in death by one son, Hugh George Allgood and his wife, Carole, and one grandson Michael J. Allgood.

Mary was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Delavan.

Irvin Allgood and Mary Ruth Fisher had the following child:
