Howard died December 14, 1999 in Custer, Breckenridge Co., KY. OBIT: Howard Russell ALLGOOD, 79, of Custer, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1999, at his residence. He owned ALLGOOD Trucking, was a farmer and was employed at Lucas-Hussey Tobacco Warehouse. He was a 30-year member of Custer Lodge #624. Survivors include his wife, Alma ALLGOOD; a daughter, Darlene Hager of Custer; three sons, Russell ALLGOOD of Elizabethtown and Terry ALLGOOD and Randy ALLGOOD of Custer; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. The funeral is 2 p.m. today at Alexander Funeral Home in Irvington with the Rev. Murray STEVENSON officiating. Burial will be in the Custer Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.

Allgood, 66, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, December 5, 2010 at his home with his family by his side. He was a member of College Heights United Methodist Church and was a member of the Custer Masonic Lodge #624 and the Order of Eastern Star Pirtle Chapter. He was a Graduate of Western Kentucky University and proudly served as a Captain and Ranger in the U.S. Army and was a real estate agent and auctioneer for more than 20 years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Allgood; his father, Howard Russell Allgood and his mother Rudell Barnes. He is survived by his stepdaughters, Terri (Wendell) McDowell of Sonora, Gina (Terry) Broyles, Rhonda (Doug) Tate and Sandy (Randy) Humphrey all of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Terry (Sue) Allgood and Randy (Renae) Allgood both of Custer; one sister, Darlene (Kenneth) Hager of Constantine; his step mother, Alma Pile Allgood of Custer; grandchildren, Lucas Broyles, Ashley Broyles, Mason McDowell, Lindsey McDowell, Nicole Coogle, Zachary Humphrey, Samantha Tate and Libby Tate; two great-grandchildren, Dre and Layla Johnson; a special niece, Renee (Steve) Wright and several other nieces, nephews and extended family. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Sister Rose Marie Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and continue after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of Contributions to the American Cancer Society He married Betty Drane.

Betty was born August 15, 1939. Betty was the daughter of Carroll Drane and Edna (___). Betty died September 26, 2010 in Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY. OBIT: Betty Drane Robinson Allgood, 71, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.

She was a beloved and devoted wife and mother. She loved life and her family. She was a member of College Heights United Methodist Church and the pianist there for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Pirtle Chapter and was retired from Keyboard Carriage in Elizabethtown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Robinson; a son, Jimmy; and her father, Carroll Drane.

Survivors include her husband, Russell L. Allgood; three daughters, Gina (Terry) Broyles, Rhonda (Doug) Tate and Sandy (Randy) Humphrey, all of Elizabethtown; her mother, Edna Drane; six grandchildren, Lucas Broyles, Ashley Broyles, Nicole Humphrey, Zachary Humphrey, Samantha Tate and Libby Tate; two great-grandchildren, Dre and Layla Johnson; two sisters, Dianna (Ed) Hunsinger of Goshen and Judy (David) Ward of Elizabethtown; a brother, Ken (Brenda) Drane of Elizabethtown; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

The funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home with the Revs. Rose Marie Jones and Charlie Hatfield and Brother Barry Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
