Surviving Mr. Lucas are his wife, the former Daisy Norris; a brother, Charles Lucas, Sr. of Big Spring; a sister, Mrs. Mollie Trent of Vine Grove; a half-brother, James Lucas and a half-sister, Mrs. Willard Preston, both of Cecelia, Ky. Pallbearers were Harold, Julius, Walter, Lee, Charles Jr., Kenneth, and Jackie Lucas Delmer and Daisy are buried in the High Plains United Methodist Church Cemetery

Daisy died April 16, 1992 in Rreckinridge Co., KY.
