OBIT: Norma Obertie Byrd Allgood, 83, died Thursday, May 11, 2006. Services are 4 p.m. Saturday at Salt Creek Baptist Church, with burial following in Salt Creek Cemetery, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral Home. Norma Allgood was born in Brown County, Texas, Aug. 18, 1922. She peaceably passed from this life, Thursday, May 4, 2006, at the age of 83.

She was preceded in death by her parents, R.A. “Bob” and Ina Edith Rainey Byrd; husband, Earl Allgood; infant son, Robert Don Allgood; and brother, A.E. “Ed” Byrd. She is survived by her daughter, Ina Elizabeth “Beth” Shuey of Converse, Texas; grandsons Eric and Karl Shuey; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Odis William Allgood, 89, of Brownwood, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2002 at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. R.J. Elkins officiating.

Burial will be at the Jenkins Spring Cemetery in Brown County.
