Sherry died December 24, 2012 in Bloomingdale, Vermillion Co., IN. OBIT: Sherry Lynn Malicoat, age 68 of Bloomington passed away Monday morning, December 24, 2012 at Indiana University Hospice House. Sherry was born March 8, 1944 in Bloomington to Lee Roy Allgood and Venetia Rose Sturgeon Allgood. Sherry was a 1961 graduate of Bloomington High School, spent her professional career with J.C. Penney and was a member of the Southern HIlls Church of Christ. Her friends and family will remember her most though for how much she loved and adored her grandchildren. Sherry leaves behind her children Rita Eads and her husband Meredith; Doug Malicoat and Curt Malicoat, all of Bloomington. Also surviving are grandchildren Chelsey Eads, Curtiss Malicoat Jr., Morgan Eads Wild, and her mother Venetia Rose Allgood. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother David Allgood. Funeral services for Sherry will be conducted Friday December 28, 2012 at 11:00AM at Allen Funeral Home 4155 South Old Highway 37. Pat Arthur will preside. Burial will follow in the Clear Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday December 27, 2012 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM as well as an hour before the funeral on Friday at Allen Funeral Home.

She married three times. She married Donald F. Malicoat.
