OBIT: Mrs Sissom was a wonderful, warm, loving, funny and Christian woman. She married Edward Wayne Sissom, in Missouri, where they were both born.
Their children were Danny, Edward Jr, Sherry Sue, Harold Rivers, and Rachel.
They moved to Texas when the children were young, Mr Sissom was a ginner and came to Crockett to run the gin, she stayed home and raised her children and loved them dearly.
She married Edward Wayne Sissom October 27, 1943 in Kennett, Dunklin Co., MO. Edward was born October 22, 1926. Edward was the son of Audie Daniel (Aut) Sissom and Mary Elsie Cross. Edward died April 13, 1985. INFO: Ed married Juneta Allgood on October 27, 1943. They were the parents of five children: Danny, Edward Jr, Sherry Sue, Harold and Rachel.
He was a ginner for Jake Caperlian for many years at the Berry Gin, and pastored at several Assembly of God Churches.
