Mr. Allgood is survived by his daughters and sons in law, Judy and Billy Hildebrand, Jr of Loganville, GA and Deborah and Butch Wilson of Hampton, GA, and Becky Hollingsworth of Canton, GA; 8 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Louise Allgood, son, Douglas Allgood, great grandson, Justin Young, 5 sisters and 5 brothers. Mr. Allgood was born on October 4, 1921 in Monroe, Georgia to Earl and Emma Allgood. He married Louise Carman on November 19, 1949. He served in the US Army during WWII. He was a 67 year Mason and was a member of Campton Lodge #566. He was self-employed most of his life with Tucker Weatherstrip. He was a member of Bold Springs United Methodist Church. The Funeral Service to Honor the Life of Tommy Lamar Allgood will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Tom M. Wages, Snellville Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Long officiating. Burial will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

He married Louise Carman November 19, 1949. Louise was born May 3, 1932. Louise was the daughter of Arthur Lee Carman and Belva Augusta Martin. Louise died March 9, 2004 in Lawrenceville, Gwinnett Co., GA. OBIT: Louise C. Allgood, age 72 of Loganville, GA died March 9, 2004. She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Allgood and is survived by her husband of 54 years, Tommy Allgood; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Billy Hildebrand of Loganville, Deborah and Butch Wilson of Winder, Becky and Bill Hollingsworth of Dawsonville; daughter-in-law, Starla Allgood of Michigan; sister, Elizabeth Goodwin of Loganville, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren. Mrs. Allgood was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Bold Springs United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 11 at 1:00 P.M. at Wages Snellville Chapel with Rev. Frank Brock officiating. Interment Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 9PM at the funeral home.
