Mere associaation by me that the death record of Margaret Ann Allgood who marrried Thomas Jones showed her father's name was Robert Allgood and motherl's mame Miranda. Census of 1850, shouther divtrict of Va. shows a Robert Allgood with a daughter of this age named Margaret Ann. Research of the Allgood men living in Vat this time. Next door to Robert was a weidow named Sarah, age 73, The only Allgood men identiified in Van during this period who married a Sarah was John Allgood

He married Miranda (___). Not sure of the parent or grandparent of Joseph Levi Allgood.

204 iv. George W. Allgood was born in Baskenville, Meclenberg Co., VA 1835. He married Mary E Hobbs December 20,1858 in Dinwiddie Co., VA. Mary was born 1835 in Baskenville, Meclenberg Co., VA. Mary was the daughter of Lemuel W Hobbs.
