Janie died January 22, 2017 in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, LA. OBIT: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 -Janie Katherine Allgood Watts, 84, native of Brookhaven, MS and resident of Baton Rouge, LA entered Heaven's Gates on Sunday, January 22, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Janie was a faithful member for over 62 years at Florida Boulevard Baptist Church, where she faithfully served as a Daycare Worker, Sunday School Teacher, and a Pre-School Teacher. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, she is survived by daughter, Diane Reagan (husband Danny); daughter, Kathy Rogers (husband Will); son, Durwin Watts; daughter, Donna Schoonmaker (husband Kevin); grandchildren, Jason Rogers, Travis Rogers, Daniel Reagan, Traci Green, Ashley Stevenson, Kami Lambe, Jeremy Reagan, Chad Schoonmaker, Jana Bailey, and Eric Schoonmaker; 21 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert "June" Allgood and Mack Allgood; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Watts; parents, Robert and Hazel Allgood; and three siblings, Harold Smith, Clayton Allgood, and Audrey "Nell" Laird. Visiting hours will be observed on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 5pm to 8pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Visiting hours will resume on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 10am until a Funeral Service at 12pm in the chapel of Greenoaks Funeral Home.
