OBIT: Graveside services for Cleo Mann Mauldin, 84, of Lubbock will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 21, in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton. Mrs. Mauldin died Wednesday, August 18, 2004. She was born April 25, 1920, in Emory, Texas. She moved to Slaton in 1929 and attended Slaton Schools. Cleo married Preston A. Mauldin on April 25, 1940, in Clovis, N.M. Preston preceded her in death March 11, 1990. She moved to Lubbock in 1979 from Denver, Colo. Cleo retired in 1983 after 22 years service with Montgomery Ward. Survivors include a sister, Jerri Tshudy, of New Cumberland, Penn., and several nieces and nephews

She married Preston Augustus Mauldin Aapril 24, 1940 in Clovis, Curry Co., NM.

Preston was born September 3, 1914. Preston died March 11, 1990.
