He was a member of Valley Station Church of Christ, a Past Master Mason of Miles Lodge F. & A.M #341, a member of the Scottish Rite and a retiree of the old International Harvester.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Forman W. and Agnes Mae Bruce; his wife, Josephine E. Bruce; his sons, Harry L. Bruce Jr. (Benie) and Rickie C. Bruce; his brothers, William Stanley and Forman (Jr.); and two grandchildren, Theresa Lynn and Roger Bruce.

Harry is survived by his sisters, Audrey Shipley, Mildred Wilkerson and Wanda Kersey of Louisville; grandchildren, Danny, Timothy and Cody Bruce, Lisa Pardon; great-grandchildren Tiffany Bruce, Haley Mumford, Gabrielle Bruce and Brandon Pardon; along with three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home, officiated by Cody Bruce, with burial in South Jefferson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Friday and after 9 a.m. on Saturday

He married Josephine E. Miller. Josephine was born October 26, 1927. Josephine died May 26, 1993 in Shepherdsville, Bullitt Co., KY.

Harry Lee Bruce and Josephine E. Miller had the following children:

+ 31334 i. Harry (Benie) Lee⁹ Bruce JR was born July 3, 1944.

+ 31335 ii. Rickie Charles Bruce was born April 6, 1954.
