3420. Thomas W.7 Allgood (William H.6, Coleman C5, Samuel Young4, John Young3, William2 Algood, Edward1 Allgood) was born Walton Co., GA February 27,1892. Thomas died October 1971 in Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA.
He married Vera Louise Guthrie. Vera was born April 13,1893 in Walton Co, GA. Vera was the daughter of Luther Oscar Guthrie and MaryAnn Titshaw. Vera died August 1977 in Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA. OBIT: When Vera Guthrie was just a young child of 4 years, her mother MaryAnn Titshaw Guthrie died in 1897 and she was raised by her father, Luther Oscar Guthrie and her Grandmother, Mary Julia Trammell Guthrie in Walton County, Georgia.
Even as a child it has been said by relatives that she was a very neat and tidy, careful and frugal. She liked to sew too. She collected small paintings and china figurines almost all her life. She was very interested in History and had also done some Genealogy on her GUTHRIE and TRAMMELL families' history.
She suffered from diabetes in her later years and it contributed to her demise at the age of 84.
She was preceeded in death her parents Luther and MaryAnn Guthrie, her husband Thomas W. Allgood and her only child and daughter, Artist Gloria Ellen Allgood
