She was a member of AARP-Chapter 4924, member of NAIM at St. Phillip Neri Church , and a member of Hilltoppers Seniors at St. Edward the Confessors Church. She was retired from Jefferson Parish School Board. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N. Causeway, on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 9:00 am. Inurnment at a later date.
