OBIT: Mr. Elmer Dale Allgood, 78, of Damascus, went home to the Lord early Wednesday morning, July 15, 2009. He was the husband of Mrs.
Patricia Ann King Allgood, his wife of 55 years. Born May 26, 1931, in Sasaqua, Okla., Mr. Allgood, fondly known as "Dale," was a son of
the late Charles and Carrie Mae Hardesty Allgood. Dale grew up in Oklahoma and served our military during the Korean and Vietnam wars.
Dale also helped in serving his community as a career police officer. He retired in 1987 from the Rockville City Police
Department. He was a member of Montgomery United Methodist Church, Damascus. He enjoyed boats and spending time on the
Chesapeake Bay and was a licensed pilot. His greatest joy in life was his family. Surviving in addition to his wife are
children, Brooks Allgood and wife, Bina, of Taylorsville, Nita Allgood Lawson and husband, Mark, and Stacy Allgood-Smith and husband,
Ricardo, all of New Market; two grandsons, Blake and Brent Allgood; as well as siblings, Maxine Allgood Harris of Midwest City, Okla., and
Arlen Allgood of Moore, Okla. In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by a son, Gilbert Blake Allgood; and
sisters, Ruby Allgood Dowling and Bonnie Allgood Humphries.
He married Patricia Ann King 1954. Patricia was born December 1, 1933 in Cedar Grove, MD.
Patricia was the daughter of Julian King. Patricia died August 4, 2016 in Frederick, Frederick Co., MD.

Frederick, Frederick Co., MD.
OBIT: Six-month old Gilbert Blake Allgood died at Frederick Memorial Hospital Saturday after a short illness of pneumonia. He was the son
of Elmer Dale and Patricia King Allgood, Cedar Grove, and is survived by his parents and a brother, Brookes Dale Allgood, at home, Also
surviving are maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Julian King, near Cedar Grove, and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Allgood,
Francis, Oklahoma, and great-grandmother, Mrs. Ava King Woodfield. The body was at the O. L. Molesworth funeral home in Damascus where
friends called until one o'clock today. It was removed to the Salem Methodist church, Cedar Grove, for services at 2 o'clock (DST).
Interment was in the church cemetery.
