Robert died July 16, 2011 in Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., TX. OBIT: Services for Robert Dexter Dennis, 93, of Gainesville, formerly of Saint Jo are set for 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Custer City Baptist Church in Callisburg with Dr. Ben Smith officiating.

Burial will follow in Mountain Park Cemetery in Saint Jo.

Arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Saint Jo.

Mr. Dennis died July 17, 2011 at Gainesville.

He was born Sept. 20, 1917 in Bulcher.

Survivors include children, Linda Harmon of Gainesville and Dianne Hunter of Roanoke, six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren and brother, Junior Dennis.

He married Lois Ava Gaston. Lois was born February 26, 1921. Lois died August 10, 1986.

Robert Dexter Dennis and Lois Ava Gaston had the following children:
