OBIT: Clarence Morgan Allgood Jr., 65, of Social Circle, died Saturday, July 6, 2013. He was born in Athens on Sept. 14, 1947, to Clarence Morgan Allgood Sr. and Geneva Thompson Allgood.

He is survived by his sister, Loutitia Phelps, of Social Circle; stepson, Matt and Kim Gunnin, of Covington; nieces, Tonya and Myron Wallace, of Social Circle, Teresa and Scott Davis, of Good Hope, and Toisha and Jason Walden, of Jersey; step-grandchildren, Cord Gunnin and Conner Gunnin; great-nieces, Morgan Gowler and Raylee Walden; great-nephews, Tanner Davis and Shelby Davis; as well as many friends and loved ones.

Funeral services were Tuesday, July 9, at the chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Lynn Head officiating. Burial followed at Hill Haven Memory Gardens.e
