OBIT: Vera Harward Allgood, 84, of Statesville, North Carolina, formerly a registered nurse with H.G. Long Hospital of Statesville, died at Iredell Memorial Hospital on Sunday, September 2, 2001. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 4, 2001, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home, 705 Davie Avenue, Statesville. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 5, 2 p.m., at Dr. J.B. Parker Jr. and the Rev. James McGraw. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
